DAVAO CITY—The Philippine and Canadian business councils in the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) will push for the inclusion of nuclear energy in the energy mix among members of the world’s largest economic bloc.
Two Philippine geothermal exploration licenses awarded to EDC
The Energy Development Corporation (EDC) has been awarded the exploration licenses for two geothermal exploration sites for which it had submitted bids. The two sites are the Buguias-Tinoc Geothermal Power Project with a potential 100-MW capacity, and the Mt. Sembrano Geothermal Power Project with a potential 20-MW capacity.
