The Vietnamese automaker VinFast is currently looking for a manufacturing spot in Germany to manufacture electric buses and cars, according to German news outlet Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung.

Vietnamese automaker VinFast, which expects to launch two electric vehicles in Europe and the U.S. market this year, is partnering with Taiwanese battery startup ProLogium Technology on solid-state EV batteries for delivery as early as 2024, VinFast said in a statement.

The Vietnamese startup Vinfast shows its first three electric models called VF31, VF32 and VF33. These are SUV in the C, D and E segments respectively. The manufacturer also delivered initial technical specifications and wants to accept first orders in Europe as early as this year.

VinFast has handed over the first batch of electric vehicles to customers in its home country of Vietnam, becoming the latest carmaker that can pride itself with having electric vehicles on the road.
